Now Available: DEEMA

I’m happy to announce that DEEMA, the second book in the Fate of the Faes series by Cynthia Melton, is now available on audiobook.

In this continuation of the battle between Light and Dark, Deema rises to the challenge to train the warriors for the upcoming battle. DEEMA also continues the story of Shayna and Pierce and all the other fun (albeit odd) characters introduced in SHAYNA.

Narration is in progress for the third book in the series, KASDEYA, which has an expected release in April.

Hope you enjoy!

From the publisher:

Can an odd group of fae, human, leprechauns, and witches save not one world, but two?

The epic battle between good and evil continues with Deema training the warriors for her queen. Once a follower of the dark, Deema’s responsibilities increase as she strives to prove her worth to a race of fae she’d once betrayed. Not only is her life in danger against an evil traitor’s creation of a new breed of demon, but she longs to bind herself to a human…something forbidden to an heir of the throne.

Shayna becomes queen of the faerie, but refuses to lay down her sword. Once a warrior, always a warrior. She changes laws, rebuilds, and steps alongside Deema to fight an evil horde set on destroying not only the human world, but hers as well.

DEEMA is available exclusively on Audible, Amazon, and iTunes.

Now Available: PLAIN HAVEN

I’m pleased to announce that PLAIN HAVEN, the first in the series of Plainly Maryland series by Susan Lantz Simpson, is now available on audio.

I really enjoyed bringing the characters in the Amish community alive. Their kindness and faith is inspiring, and it was a joy to experience that while narrating this book.

Here is a sneak listen:

From the publisher:

Lilly Brandt was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Now, she is running for her life – straight into a small, obscure Amish community in Southern Maryland. Now as Hannah Kurtz, she knows she won’t be staying in Cherry Hill long enough to form any attachments, but she hadn’t counted on meeting and being attracted to the kind, young man with the amazing blue eyes.

Jacob Beiler, a skilled young furniture maker, has made a vow of his own. After being jilted by the girl he trusted right before he was about to propose, he decides to focus strictly on honing his craft and guarding his heart from any future injury. When Hannah Kurtz enters his world, she drops into his mending heart as well. Against his better judgement, he allows himself to care again and to trust another woman.

When the Amish community discovers Hannah is not really Amish and that she is not even Hannah Kurtz, Jacob feels betrayed yet again. Will he be able to forgive Hannah’s necessary deception, or will he walk away from love forever?

The audiobook version of Plain Haven is available exclusively on Audible, Amazon, and iTunes.

Now Available: SHAYNA

I’m happy to announce that Cynthia Melton’s SHAYNA, the first book in the Fate of the Faes series, is now available on audiobook.

Shayna, which tells the story of a fae warrior sent to the human world to fight the impending darkness that threatens to take over, was a blast to narrate. A little bit of romance and some awesome characters: humans, leprechauns, dragons, demons, vampires – you name it, this book’s got it. And there’s a sassy witch too.

I can’t wait to start on the narration for the next two books in the series: Deema and Kasdaya, which are expected release in March and April.

Hope you enjoy!

From the Publisher:

A darkness approaches that only a fae can stop.

Evil forces threaten to cover the human world with darkness. The faerie world is dependent on the human world’s survival or they, too, will perish. Shayna, a faerie warrior of the light, is sent to the human world to prevent that from happening and must convince a human to help her.

When she reveals her true self to Detective Pierce Cochran, his world is thrust upside down. Everything he believed to be a fairy tale is true.

The faerie and the detective join forces against a growing number of demons and vampires, enlisting the help of an assortment of creatures Pierce didn’t know existed. Magic and weaponry collide as the mis-matched group of warrior’s race toward the final battle.

The audiobook version of Shayna is available exclusively on Audible, Amazon, and iTunes.

This was such a fun book to narrate. Catherine Bruns’ writing is so clever and peppered with humor, that I had to re-take a couple scenes after I giggled at Cindy’s dialogue involving her 8-year old twins. I hope I conveyed the brilliance of Bruns’ writing through my narration. Enjoy!

Catherine Bruns’ writing is so clever and peppered with humor, that often times, I need to do a re-take because I giggle at Cindy’s internal thoughts or at the dialogue involving her 8-year old twins. This is such a fun book and I’m enjoying every minute working to get the audiobook released!

Audiobook Now Available: KEEPING HOPE ALIVE

Keeping Hope Alive CoverIt’s finally here!

The long-awaited audiobook version of Keeping Hope Alive by Dawn Kopman Whidden is now available!

Keeping Hope Alive is the 4th book in the Whitley and Keal mystery series, and continues the story of Brad Madison, the troubled child from book #1,  and his relationship with his therapist Hope Rubin.

I’ve enjoyed narrating this series immensely. This is the last book in the series for Dawn Kopman Whidden, until she decides to write book 5 (hint, hint).  Until then, I’m keeping hope alive.

From Amazon:

A young couple taking a leisurely walk through the woods is shocked when the quiet, peaceful stroll ends as they come across what is without question a human skull. When detectives Jean Whitley and Marty Keal are called to investigate, two more bodies are uncovered nearby in shallow graves, but unlike the first, these murder victims have just met their demise. Now, not only do the detectives have to discover the identities of all three victims, but they also have to see if the victims are somehow connected or if it’s just a coincidence all three were dumped so close together.

While Jean and Marty search for answers, Marty’s fiancée, psychiatrist Dr. Hope Rubin, is working hard to get her patient Brad Madison released from Armistace Hospital for Children, where he has been living since the brutal murder of his own parents, while trying to take care of her own personal business of planning her wedding. But then the unforeseeable happens. Hope disappears, and Brad claims he knows what happened.

Can the disturbed boy be trusted to be telling the truth, and is Hope’s kidnapping in any way linked to the three victims found in the nearby woods?

Marty and Jean’s search for the killer become much more desperate and horrifyingly personal when Hope is kidnapped. Will they find her before it’s too late? Or will she become another victim? Will the detectives be able to keep Hope alive?

The audiobook version of Keeping Hope Alive by Dawn Kopman Whidden and narrated by Amy Deuchler is available exclusively on Audible, Amazon, and iTunes.

Audiobook Now Available: LOVE ON A TRAIN

I’m excited to announce that the audiobook version of Love on a Train by Colleen L. Donnelly has released and is now available! I thoroughly enjoyed narrating the story of Martha told through her own novel about falling in love with a man on a train. Martha’s journey of self-discovery while searching for love parallels my own journey with audiobook narration – discovering my love was in telling stories.  I hope you enjoy this narration as much as I did.

Audiobook cover Love on a Train

From the Publisher:

The moment Martha noticed Raymond on the train, everything her mother warned against erupted – romantic notions, palpitating heart, the desire to write it all in a novel and tell the world.

Martha lived and wrote that love story until the day Raymond handed her a sketch. “Want to see a picture of the girl I plan to marry?” The penciled profile resembled Martha… But when Raymond went away, she knew. She wasn’t the girl he planned to marry.

David was her father’s apprentice, everything Martha’s mother said made a good husband – hardworking, no romantic tendencies, no tolerance for writing about it.

Martha added a fictional happy ending to her and Raymond’s story and published it. Cleansed herself of romantic love, ready to marry David. Until a copy of her book appeared – full of sketches – Raymond’s version of their love story – drawings that enticed her heart to beat once again.

The audiobook version of Love on a Train by Colleen L. Donnelly and narrated by Amy Deuchler is available exclusively on Audible, Amazon, and iTunes.
